This medical exhibit reveals the chronological progression of an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy which if gone undiscovered can result in a rupture of the fallopian (uterine) tube and hemorrhage. Images include the normal reproductive anatomy, early 8-week fetal development within the fallopian tube, late 12-week development with weakened fallopian tube walls, final end stage appearance with rupture and hemorrhage.
